What is the first Red Light Therapy Session Like?
Your first session will begin with a consultation. We will spend time reviewing your questions, concerns, and paperwork (which you will receive via email prior to your appointment). After identifying your needs and what you hope to gain from treatment, I will make a recommendation for a treatment plan. This will include a recommendation regarding number of treatments, weekly frequency of treatments, and amount of minutes per session. Most clients receive treatment 2-3 times each week for 20-25 minutes until they achieve their desired results or relief. At the end of a package a maintenance plan can be developed.
Once we have our initial conversation, I will step out of the room and allow you to change. Clients typically wear a bra and undergarment or a bathing suit. The more skin that is directly exposed to the red light pads the better.
After a couple of minutes, I will come back into the treatment room to wrap/apply the lighted pads. You will then relax in a quiet setting for the 20-25 minutes. At the end of the red light treatment, I will come back into the room and take you out of the machine. You will get dressed and step up on the vibrate plate. You will spend the last 10 minutes of your session vibrating, which will awaken your lymphatic system and help your body to shed the fat cells lost.
We will spend a few minutes checking in and discussing next steps, such as future appointments and package pricing. If you do decide to purchase a package, at your second appointment we will take “before” pictures and I will take body measurements for post program comparison.
You are strongly encouraged to hydrate to support the flushing process after treatment and many clients report getting a great night sleep.
