What is Life Coaching?

Well, we all know what a coach does for a sports team, right? They help the team improve, they help players learn new strategies, they support new growth and development, they hold their players accountable, they help their players win! That is what I do as a life coach. My goal is to help my clients identify what “winning” at life would look like for them and then we develop a plan to get there.

I am an Integrative Wellness and Life Coach (IWLC)! I help clients reach goals or make changes in their lives and address and overcome core issues and negative patterns by empowering clients to change their lives with effective tools, techniques, and specific action plans. An IWLC does this using a holistic and integrative approach meant to create balance in all realms of the body: mental, emotional, physical and spiritual. The goal is to empower clients to make effective change. Clients will walk away with a personal plan to move towards wellness and health.

Coaching can be therapeutic, but it is not therapy. In sessions we reflect on past habits, events, and circumstances but our main goal is creating the present and future that one would like. Coaching also tends to be a bit more directive than therapy.

Life coaching can, and typically does, focus on multiple areas of your life. We look at your physical health, emotional health, creativity/hobbies/joy, relationships, career, personal growth, finances, your environment, and your spirituality.

Coaching begins with an intake appointment where we examine what is currently working for you and what is not. We set smart goals and develop plans that are full of actionable strategies to start moving in the direction of your future. We practice in session and dissect what is working out in the “real world” and what is not each week. Together, we determine what is still holding you back and we take more action!

We work until you win!
