Valentine's Day is A Day for Self Love Too
Valentine's Day is a great day to spend a little time focusing on taking care of you!! We are roughly six weeks into the year and some of our resolutions and plans have gone to the waste-side. I am here to remind you that you deserve all the love you pour out for others and MORE. Hear are my top 5 tips for self care/self love on V Day!
Recommit to your health and wellness: Did you set a fitness goal this year? Have you been able to stick to it? If you didn't or you haven't, take the day to figure that out. Move your body. Mediate. Try the healthy recipe. Make a plan for how you will be able to fit that into your life on the regular going forward.
Pamper yourself: How you do this in on you, but promise me you will do it! This might mean sleeping in, or taking a bath, or scheduling a full day at the spa. Pampering can be done on a spectrum of price points and time needed, but just take a little time to spoil yourself.
Connect with your friends: We are busy! And Covid has made time and connection with friends even more difficult...so make the calls, send the texts. Love on your friends.
Do the thing. You know that thing that you always say "tomorrow" or "next week". Take the first step! Register for the class, buy the book, sign up for the seminar, try the _____ (fill in the blank). Make the plan. Use today as the first day to create a life you LOVE.
Create a list of Affirmations: This one is my parting gift to you. This is a way to show your self love everyday. Use Valentine's Day as a day to create of list of the things you need to hear. Write it down. Read it every day. Say it to yourself in the mirror. Be kind to yourself!
