2021 Intentions -- Relationships

Relationships: Since I made the social category about my friendships and familial relationships, I'm going to take this one as my marriage.

Marriage is tough! Marriage during an international pandemic is even tougher. Jason and I have had to learn to work together in different ways in the last year. We've had to learn to spend more time together then ever before, but less time as a couple. We've traded date nights for family movie nights and romantic getaways for quarantine/lock-down living.

As things start to open up this year, I want to make an active effort to spend time with Jason. Until then though, a better balance needs to be struck. In talking with other moms, I know that we are not alone in feeling like the opportunity for alone time or couples times have been few and far between over the last year...but just because we are not alone in this struggle doesn't mean I do not want to find a solution! We are going to have to figure this one out!

My intention for 2021 to continue to nurture our friendship and marriage in spite of this crazy time! Any suggestions welcome!
