2021 Intentions -- Environmental

Environmental… The environment in which we live in, our home, the world around us, what we will do to change it, enjoy it, how it will impact us and we will impact it.

That's how I decided to see this topic. I plan to spend as much time outside as I can. I plan to bring my workouts outside when possible, or take a quick walk bundled up and cold days. I know the positive impact that fresh air and sunshine can have and I need to access that whenever I can.

Something that I'm not great on, but I tend to get better in 2021 is making sure that I am recycling any and everything possible within our home. I will admit it, there are days where I toss the soup can in the garbage can instead of taking a couple of minutes to rinse it out… That will stop this year. I plan to leave the earth in a the best place that I can for my children and grandchildren.

Lastly, I plan to do some updates in our home this year. When life gets crazy -- and it always seems to keeping things clean has been my number one priority. I have not made time for anything more. This year I plan to do more! I will get around to those "someday" projects. I'd like to get blinds up on the first floor, the shed up and packed (leaving the garage for a good clean out! I'd like to add back-splash in our kitchen. This is a home improvement project that Jason and I will tackle ourselves. I would also like to I'd to get the house painted, and paint the stairs to the basement.

Putting the finishing touches on our house will help to make it more of a home. A better environment for all of us. I am determined to get these things done this year!
