What is Different About Me, Your ACE Certified Personal Training?

I am an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. I incorporate a philosophy of healthy lifestyles into my training. I use a balanced approach as a personal trainer. My goal is to collaborate and communicate with you through the entire process, so we can build a trusting and solid relationship. I use ACE's personal training methodology to get my clients moving. Movement is the key to a quality of life. This methodology is based on data and real evidence that is proven to increase success. This focus on research based methodology and fundamental belief in a holistic approach to training is why I chose ACE as my certifying entity.  I want to help you make real changes that will have long term impact. We will set short term goals, but use them a stepping stones. Short terms goals are a great part of our larger plan- to live a healthy, balanced life filled with movement and joy. 


As a personal trainer, I understand that movement is the key to feeling better. It helps you become more engaged with life, others. It really gets your blood pumping through your veins. This movement could be as simple as a daily morning walk or as rigorous as a  heart pumping cardio or spin class. The key is that you move and keep moving. We will have a lot of conversations about your "why", your goals and the plans to attain them. In addition to helping you move, I want to help you uncover and understand the  reasons for your past unsuccessful tries at wellness. Most often, there is an emotional component to your desire to be healthier. I am not just a personal trainer, but I am also a wellness and life coach. This means we will dive in to more the the just the physical limitations, but also the emotions that are impacting you.  I want to understand your goals and help you achieve them.


Together we will discover what works and what doesn't work for you. At time the work with feel hard, I promise, we will have fun! The critical piece is that you are moving and moving at a pace that will optimize your physical health. I will help you find the actions that you enjoy and help you incorporate movement seamlessly into your every day life. We will start with a foundation of trust and respect. We begin with strong communication and develop from there. I am fully committed to working with you to help you reach your goals in a way that you will be able to sustain them for the rest of your life. I want to help you make lifelong changes.
